CEC Met the Delegation from North China Electric Power University

Aug. 27, 2021 /CEC/ - On August 27, Yang Kun, Executive President of China Electricity Council (CEC), met with the delegation from North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) led by Zhou Jian, Secretary of CPC Committee of NCEPU, and Yang Yongping, President of NCEPU. An Hongguang, the Vice President of CEC and Hao Yingjie, Secretary General of CEC attended the meeting as well.

At the meeting, Yang Kun shortly briefed the delegation the latest achievements of CEC such as the research of the “carbon peak and carbon neutrality”, the acceleration of the Human Resources development and the construction of the industrial think tank for the power industry. Zhou Jian then presented the latest development of NCEPU in the integration of industry and educational institutions and its strategy of "Going Global". The two sides exchanged views on the possibilities of setting up an ‘Excellent Power Industry Engineers Alliance’ as well as establishing a ‘Carbon Neutrality Strategic Research Institute’ and strengthening the international cooperation.
