CEC won the "Chinese Industries and Enterprises Cooperating with ASEAN Award 2019"

On January 14th, CEC was invited to attend the "2020 China-ASEAN Celebrating New Year and Enhancing Cooperation Activity" organized by the China-ASEAN Business Council and the ASEAN Committee Beijing. Romana, Philippines Ambassador in China, and Xu ningning, executive president of China-ASEAN Business Council, attended the meeting and made speeches.

During the activity, the award ceremony for the "Chinese Enterprises Going to ASEAN and ASEAN Enterprises Going to China 2019" was held, and the winners of "Chinese Successful Enterprises Going to ASEAN 2019" and "ASEAN Successful Enterprises Going to China 2019" were announced. CEC was awarded the "Chinese Industries and Enterprises Cooperating with ASEAN Award 2019"; three other companies recommended by CEC also received corresponding awards.

In 2019, China has been ASEAN's largest trading partner for 11 consecutive years, and ASEAN has historically become China's second largest trading partner. The year of 2020 is the year of China- ASEAN digital economy cooperation. Both sides have identified the theme of cooperation in 2020 as digital economy cooperation, which fully demonstrates that in the face of sluggish growth of global economy, China and ASEAN have overcome the constraints of negative factors caused by trade protection and unilateralism, and explored new space for development through cooperation and innovation.
