CNNC Environmental Protection Co Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding with Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power Group and Italia's Ansaldo Energia in Shanghai on May 16.
According to the agreement, the three parties will play to their respective advantages and cooperate in managing waste and decommissioning nuclear facilities.
They will also establish a platform for introducing more Chinese companies to the European and international nuclear environmental market.
During the signing ceremony, Ettore Francesco Sequi, Italian ambassador to China, said that the partnership will turn out to be one of the most successful collaborations between Chinese and Italian companies.
