On May 31, the Youth League Committee of CSG organized 20-odd volunteers to hold Children’s Day celebration at its counterpart poverty alleviation site— Jingmei Village Primary School, Jiexi County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. The volunteers brought schoolbags, extracurricular books, footballs, basketballs, and other school and sports supplies to the students, most of whom are left-behind children. Tips of electricity safety were also taught to these kids to avoid potential safety hazard.
The volunteers actively participated in this activity. They played table tennis and other games with the children. Afterwards, they visited Dabei Mountain Revolution History Memorial Hall in Jiexi County, a Patriotism Education Base of Guangdong Province, where they reviewed the history of the Party and the Red Army.
