Guangzhou - As the Year of the Monkey comes to its inevitable conclusion and the Year of the Rooster begins, China Southern Power Grid Board Chairman Li Qingkui visited the company’s Power Dispatching and Control Center to check on the regional power supply during the Spring Festival and extend his heartfelt greetings to the staff on duty and their families during the Chinese New Year Holiday.
"Today is New Year's Eve. I wish you all a happy Chinese New Year", said Li Qingkui at the headquarters’ power dispatching room.
He asked, in detail, of the power supply status in the South during the Spring Festival and shook hands with the dispatchers on duty.
Chairman Li stressed that it was “essential to ensure the security of the power grid as well as providing a reliable power supply during the Festival, so as to enable people to live safely and peacefully”.
Chairman Li was also accompanied by heads of the CSG General Office and System Operation Department.
