CSG Leads the Formulation of the Newly Published IEEE International Standard

Guangzhou - Recently, Guide for the Parameter Measurement of AC Transmission, an IEEE international standard, was published.

The Guide, with CSG playing a leading part in its formulation, has promoted CSG’s voice and influence in the international power industry by filling research void in the field.

Based on the project Study on Theories and Standard System of Accurate Parameter Measurement of Transmissions, Verification System Development and Project Application, a first prize winner of CSG Scientific and Technological Progress Award, the Guide was designed as an international standard to promote these results for global application.

This Guide was formulated by EHV (Extra-High Voltage) Power Transmission Company, Tsinghua University, General Electric Company, and Asea Brown Boveri Ltd. (ABB) etc. under the supervision of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
