On January 5, 2010, China Huaneng Group held an assembly to award the plaque of a landmark unit enabling the installed capacity of China Huaneng Group to reach 100 GW and activate the green development initiative.
In 2009, the installed capacity of the Company reached 100 GW, realizing a new historic step forward in the development history of Huaneng. The Company decided to award the title of a landmark unit enabling the installed capacity of Huaneng to reach 90 GW and 100 GW to unit 2 of Haimen Power Plant and unit 4 of Xiaowan Hydropower Plant; awarding the honorary title of “Advanced Unit of Pre-launch Efforts in 2009” to 13 Projects or Units, including phase 2 of Huaneng Jinggangshan Power Plant; awarding the honorary title of “Advanced Unit of Engineering Construction & Operation in 2009” to 13 units, including Huaneng International Power Co., Ltd.
