Huaneng helped local government reopen three major life accesses for disaster relief

The rescue team of Huaneng Baoxing River Company were demolishing rocks on the junction of Lushan and Yucheng counties on National Highway 318.

At 8:02 am, April 20, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit Lushan County, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. After the earthquake, while busy resuming production to ensure smooth operation of the generating units, Huaneng Baoxing River Company in the earthquake zone of Ya'an city immediately organized professionals and large-scale machines to detonate and clear away the rocks blocking the National Highway 318, which helped local government reopen the life access for disaster relief from Ya'an to Lushan. Huaneng Baoxing River Company also promptly organized a rescue team consisting of more than 200 people, who hurried to villages of Luxi, Daban, Datong, Hengxi, Renjia, and Tongmeng of Lushan County for earthquake relief.

On April 21, the rescue team of Huaneng Baoxing River Company reopened the life access from Fengtongzhai to Baoxing section of Highway S210, cleaned up the landslide section from Baoxing to Lingguan, and helped local government reopen the life access from Baoxing to Xiaojin County.

So far, the rescue team of Huaneng Baoxing River Company had helped local government reopen three life accesses for earthquake relief (from Ya'an to Lushan, from Fengtongzhai to Baoxing, and from Baoxing to Xiaojin County).

On April 22, the rescue team of Huaneng Baoxing River Company were clearing away the section from Baoxing to Dengchigou on Highway S210.
