Zhao Jianguo met with Ignasius Jonan

On June 7, Party Leadership Secretary, Chairman Zhao Jianguo met with  H.E. Ignasius Jonan, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Republic of Indonesia, and Kiki Barki Chairman and President, PT Tanito, holding talks on strengthening energy cooperation.

Zhao Jianguo welcomed Minister Jonan and his delegation and expressed appreciation for their long term support and assistance. He said that Indonesia is a crucial point on the Belt and Road route and is strategically located with agreeable investment environment and that CHD highly values development in Indonesia. He hoped that two sides will further strengthen communication and deliver more progress in relevant projects based on the principle of equality, integrity, mutual benefits and win-win; and that cooperation should be further strengthened in hydropower and gas power for stable power supply for Indonesian economic and social development.

Minister Jonan talked about Indonesian power market and his appreciation for CHD contribution to local power supply. He promised continued support and welcomed CHD to combine technical and management expertise and local resources and play a active role in local power market.

Prior to the meeting, Minister Jonan visited CHD exhibition hall for detailed updates on CHD current operations. 

CHD Board Secretary, Assistant President, Director General of General Office Wang Xuxiang and heads of other departments and subsidiaries also attended the meeting.
