Cheng Niangao Met with BP Delegation

Member of Board, President Cheng Niangao talked with Paul Reed, CEO, BP Integrated Supply and Trading about deepening cooperation at headquarters on May 12th. 

President Cheng briefed Mr.Reed on Huadian’s development direction under economic “New Normal” phase and supply-side structural reform. He said that Huadian will continue green development and step up efforts in renewable energy like hydro, wind, solar and clean energy like natural gas-fired power generation. He also hoped that two companies will strengthen cooperation in renewable energy, tap into respective resource and technological advantages and jointly promote clean and efficient development of energy sector.

Paul Reed introduced BP and called upon two sides to explore new areas to join hands on basis of existing LNG cooperation, so as to secure mutual benefits and win-win results. 

Heads of relevant departments and subsidiaries also attended the meeting.
