On January 29, the first freight train carrying 3,301 tons of ethylene glycol (EG) of Xinshuo Railway Co., Ltd. under China Energy departed from Xuejiawan Station and headed for Litianmu Station, marking a breakthrough made by the company in transporting liquid with containers.

The successful operation of the EG freight train marked a shift of Xinshuo Railway to diversified transportation modes. Leveraging its strength in highway-to-railway transport, the company strengthens safety management and coordinates relevant loading and shipping agencies to conduct careful check on the names, safety, transport and packing requirements, and density of EG products to be transported, based on the demand of clients. Through blazing new path for non-coal transportation, it fully taps the potential of the “golden passage” and continues enhancing logistics service capacity, laying a solid foundation for expanding its railway container multimodal transport business.
