China Energy Receives a Five-star Rating on CSR Report

China Energy officially released its 2020 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report at a 2021 conference on CSR reports of companies in the coal industry held by China National Coal Association on May 12. The report has been awarded a five-star rating, the highest possible, from the Chinese Expert Committee on CSR Report Rating. Also at the conference, China Energy was named a “National Outstanding Coal Company in CSR Report.”

According to the appraisal by the Chinese Expert Committee on CSR Report Rating, China Energy’s 2020 CSR Report “reaches the five-star level in terms of all criteria including procedure, substantiality, integrity, balance, comparability, readability, and innovation, setting the standard for CSR reports.” Only 12 companies have attained this highest honor so far nationwide, accounting for 10 percent of submitted reports, and China Energy stood out among its peers as the first, and the only, in the coal industry to receive a five-star rating in CSR report.
