CTG Brasil gathered around 300 volunteers for the second edition of its Voluntary Week, that happened from November 30th to December 7th. Around 300 volunteers performed works in 11 different institutions located in municipalities that surround the company's area of operation.
Among the actions are activities for children and elderly people, repair of a playground and schools and even a workshop to build musical instruments used in Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music.
Another very cool action was the assembly of 8 lamps made from recyclable materials to be donated to communities that do not have energy.
The 2019 Voluntary Week was coordinated by CTG Brasil's Brand, Communication & Sustainability area and had the support of Atados, a NGO specialized in volunteering, and benefited around 1,000 people direct and indirectly.
