The water level of the Xiluodu dam, operated by CTG, reached a water level of 599.35 meters on October 10, marking the completion of its annual water storage task.
It also signals that four cascade reservoirs on the lower reaches of the Jinsha River have hit their water storage targets set for the end of the flood season in 2021, ensuring the energy supply for this winter and next spring.
Previously, Wudong, Baihetan and Xiangjiaba dams had all completed their annual water storage tasks.
