Xiluodu Hydropower Station set a new record of 9.237 billion kWh of electricity in August, surpassing 9 billion kWh for the first time. This eclipsed the previous record of 8.731 billion kWh achieved in August 2014. As of August 31, the hydropower station had produced 38.599 billion kWh of power in 2018, an all-time record high over the same period of previous years.
