World Bank Executive Director for China Visited CTG

On March 13, CTG Executive Vice Presidents Lin Chuxue and Zhang Dingming received the delegation led by Mr. Yang Yingming, Executive Director for China at World Bank (WB), holding talks around strengthening CTG’s partnership with the World Bank and its member institutions.

Mr. Lin extended a warm welcome to the delegation and expressed thanks for its long-term support that has guided CTG’s international business. Mr. Lin briefed the guests on CTG’s strategic positioning and business performance, especially how far CTG has moved, together with the WB and IFC, in corporate compliance system building, clean energy development in South Asia, and backbone grid and supportive power transmission and distribution programs in West Africa. He looked forward to further reinforcing such efforts for mutual benefits and wins. Mr. Zhang emphasized the great importance of partnering with the WB and suggested that the WB and other international organizations shall help developing countries establish and improve market rules and social integrity system and create a more favorable environment for investors.

Mr. Yang Yingming expressed his appreciation for the work of CTG and its joint programs with the WB. He introduced the recent developments of the WB and looked forward to continued and strengthened collaboration between CTG and the WB in the sphere of clean energy.
