CTG Renewables, the new energy arm of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) has recently made significant progress at its offshore wind power project in Rudong County of China’s eastern Jiangsu province.
On July 26, CTG Renewables completed the installation of the first wind turbine in the Huangshayang Sea, 50 kilometers offshore. The 72-meter long wind turbine blades were successfully connected to the wheel hub.
At 10:00am on July 28, the first section of the upper part of the offshore converter station was successfully loaded with the 1,200-ton gantry smoothly sliding into position.
