Wudongde hydropower station, owned by China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), has seen its NO.9 power unit achieve the goal of safe and stable running in its first 100 days in operation on March 4, making it the fifth unit of the station to have hit the goal since its commissioning, and the first one to have achieved the feat this year.
The hydropower plant has so far generated a total of 17.5 billion kWh of electricity, making great contributions to ensuring the stable power supply nationwide and meeting the needs for electricity during the winter season and holidays.
