Chairman Lei Mingshan inspects CTG’s South American business

Lei Mingshan, chairman of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), led a delegation to inspect the group’s South American business in Lima, Peru from November 17 to 18 local time.

The delegation also paid a visit to Luz del Sur Power Company (LDS) on November 18, where he held a meeting with the management team and said he was impressed by the company’s management, operation efficiency and business performance. The LDS investment is of immense strategic significance to CTG in Peru or even South America. CTG will fully respect and trust LDS’s current corporate governance and management team, and the two partners should complement each other to achieve business synergies.

CTG will, in a professional, market-oriented and localized management manner, support the development of LDS in areas such as hydropower development and distribution grid technology upgrade to drive the growth of LDS as the two partners strive to provide better services to local customers.
