Yingkou Gas Engine Project Got ApprovalOn December 15, Hubei Energy Group received approval to launch a 2×500MW com-bined heat and power (CHP) project in Yingkou, marking a milestone in building gas project outside Hubei Province. After its completion, the project is expected to meet en-ergy demand from industrial bases and metallurgical equipment factories along the coast of Yingkou. It will also help relieve pressure on energy supply, upgrade industrial struc-tures and phase out low productivity in Yingkou.
