Constructed by EnergyChina, the world's first 100 MW decentralized control energy storage power station was connected to the grid and officially put into operation on December 29, 2021. This independent energy storage demonstration project is located in Jinan, Shandong Province, covers an area of about 20,000 k㎡. The project adopts lithium iron phosphate batteries, with a construction scale of 100MW/200MWh. The project is expected to optimize the peak load regulation of Shandong’s power system, and help upgrade the local energy structure.
