Undertaken by EnergyChina’s China Gezhouba Group, the Nam Kong III 54 MWp Hydropower Project, located in Attapeu province, Laos, has been handed over on November 6.
The construction began in November 2017, with a maximum storage capacity of 430 million cubic meters. While adjusting the water level of the local rivers during annual rainy seasons, it can also provide 160 million kWh of green power for about 450,000 residents in both Southern Laos and Vietnam.
