China Energy Inks Cooperation Agreement with Fujian Provincial Government

On April 1, China Energy and Fujian Provincial People’s Government held a virtual signing ceremony of an agreement on industrial development cooperation. Yin Li, secretary of Fujian Provincial Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial People’s Congress, and Wang Xiangxi, chairman of China Energy, addressed the ceremony which was hosted by Fujian Governor Zhao Long, and witnessed signing of the agreement. Liu Guoyue, CEO of China Energy, and Guo Ningning, vice governor of Fujian, signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides respectively.

According to the agreement, the two sides will leverage their respective advantages to strengthen project planning and cooperation in terms of coal storage and transportation bases, port and railroad construction, comprehensive energy services, hydrogen energy application, new energy development, new energy equipment manufacturing, clean energy development, and low-carbon smart parks, in accordance with the principles of “long-term perspective, mutual benefit, common progress and win-win outcomes,” with an aim to promote win-win cooperation and achieve high-quality development.
