Terrific news! The first batch of 11 MW wind turbines of the Jieyang Shenquan II Offshore Wind Farm, with the CEEC as the EPC contractor, was connected to the grid on Dec 1.
The wind turbines boast world's largest mass-produced single-unit capacity, with an annual power generation capacity of 38.2 million kWh, enough to meet the annual electricity demand of 19,000 households.
Upon completion, the giant wind farm will supply over 1.7 billion kWh of clean power per year, adding momentum to local greendevelopment.
