President Deng Jianling Attended the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2023

From January 16 to 18, Deng Jianling, President of China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd. attended the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2023 held in Davos, Switzerland, listened to the special address delivered by Liu He, Vice Premier of the State Council, and participated in the sub-forum themed “China’s Next Chapter”. During the annual meeting, Deng Jianling met with Klaus Schwab, the Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, and was interviewed by CGTN.

In the interview with CGTN, Deng Jianling briefed on China Huaneng’s achievements in green and low-carbon energy transition, scientific and technological innovation and its development strategy, and expressed the willingness to join hands with global partners to tackle energy and climate challenges.

Deng Jianling also exchanged views with several senior executives of multinational enterprises on deepening cooperation in multiple fields, such as energy security, scientific and technological R&D, and new energy development, etc.
